GANICIN Zinc Rich Coatings contain sufficient metallic zinc dust in the dry film to provide some degree of galvanic protection to steel during exposure to atmospheric conditions. Zinc Rich Coatings are formulated from a variety of binders, both organic and inorganic. The pigmentation of these coatings is basically metallic zinc dust at relatively high pigment volume concentration. The primary function of both organic and inorganic zinc rich coatings is corrosion protection, not decoration. Top coats are usually applied for protection and decorative purposes.

Advantages of GANICIN Zinc Rich Coatings:

  • One coat protection under many service conditions.
  • Outstanding durability.
  • Excellent protection in corrosive environments when properly topcoated.
  • Inorganic zinc provides high heat resistance.
  • Galvanic protection properties.
  • Excellent abrasion resistance.
